Experimental Validation of a Mesh-to-Mesh Magnetic Force Projection for e-NVH Simulation

This article discusses the use of simulation for analyzing vibro-acoustic behavior radial flux electrical machines under magnetic forces. Numerical enables a systematic investigation electromagnetic Noise, Vibration and Harshness (e-NVH) issues, but requires accurate modeling this despite manufacturing uncertainties. Experimental validation is necessary step to setup multiphysic virtual prototyping e-NVH workflow. In particular, key point magneto-mechanical coupling. study, Virtual Work Principle (VWP) used force calculation. The goal propose an model applied 12s10p machine using mesh-to-mesh projection. understand origin noisiest orders along whole speed range machine.
